I love the glossy vibrant interiors of these wonderfully quirky Loyal Loot Log Bowls, which are handmade in Edmondton, Canada, using ethically-sourced reclaimed local wood. I'd love a group of three in different sizes and colours.
They're in-store now at Shelf in East London, with prices starting at £50.

Hi wee birdy! Thanks for dropping by my not usually bird related blog!
Dee-lighted to meet you you as I am usually a bit of a london-file, dropping over from Dublin a few times a year for a bit of R & R.
I am a Syd/Mel/Bris girl who flew with my chicks and mate to Dublin 7 years ago. Love Sydney but all the family are in Ballarat so that is where we hang out every couple of years. And the photo of the Macaw was taken in Singapore Zoo, en-route.
Happy New Year Hope it is a great one for you.
xx

They remind me of tubes of buttons you get in the haberdasherers, with one example buttons on the end! I have a bowl like that but the natural wood is on the inside and varnished, and there is olive green glossy paint on the outside.
Thank God my internet is back up!
