Wee Birdy is an exploratory field guide to the hidden gems in London and Sydney and sparkling treasures on the (online) horizon.
Selected as one of the Top 50 Design Blogs in the World by Times Online, as well as one of the Top 100 Blogs in the World by The Sunday Times, Wee Birdy is edited and written by former magazine editor Top Bird.
Top Bird recently spent three years in London, where she was Deputy Shopping & Style Editor at Time Out London, before returning to her Sydney nest.
A self-confessed bird nerd, Wee Birdy explores the very best in shopping, style, fashion, beauty, design, interiors, craft and handmade.
I'm loving Tamar Mogendorff's bird houses and cages, which are hand-crafted using vintage fabrics and antique embroidery, buttons and beads. They're now available from Liberty in London.
so amazing en masse!

They are gorgeous! But you would have to be rather rich to have a wall that looked as good as this wouldn't you?! Maybe one day...

Hello, and thanks for stopping by my cottage. I came over for a visit too and love, love what I see. You have a fascinating site, interesting posts and lovely photos. I went through few pages of posts, but need to get back to work; I will be back this weekend to read all your current and archived posts. Those Welsh cakes look so yummy; they would go so well with the pot of tea I just made!!! I don’t see a follower widget to sign up at; however, I will go ahead and add your blog to my list of lovely blogs. Come over for tea often and next time if you have a moment stop and sign up as a follower, I will sincerely appreciate it.
Talk to you soon

oh Wee Birdy, your blog is such a feast for the eyes - especially us half-starved Australians who do not have the abundance of gourmet delights on offer in the UK - love, love, love the birds and birdhouses - would love to fill my little house with them! thanks for dropping by my blog x
