If you like your clothes feminine with a distinct quirk (like say, deer and lace doilie prints), then you might like to check out Emma Cook, who just happens to be having a sample sale at her East London studio on Friday and Saturday. All sorts of bargains are up for grabs!
In the meantime, have a peek at Cook's resort 2010 collection, which is in-store now and features her signature girlish silhouettes against a soft palette of dusky pinks, browns and greys. Quite loving the flattering empire-line jersey dresses and silk chiffon tops, as well as the symmetrical art-nouveau motif, which is repeated throughout the collection. It's currently available from Liberty and Matches in London.
Oh great! That's just round the corner from me!

Oh... as if it doesn't hurt enough living in Brisbane! This is just too cruel ;) How many times do you have to think 'If only I were in London now?!' before you magically are transported...? Have a lovely time... I'll be thinking of you. K

Looks like fun - so sad I won't be able to make it! However, did you know there's an Alexander McQueen sample sale starting at 12 today in Clarkenwell? It's at 22 Clerkenwell Green and has both clothes and accessories!

Top Bird - thanks for that! mmm Anglomania on the cheap! I gave up at A McQueen too - queued for two hours (although I got there before it opened!) and they said I was still at least an hour from getting in! Boss wasn't too happy with my extended break!
