The classic blue and white banded pottery of T.G.Green & Co’s Cornishware has been gracing British kitchen tables for over eight decades, and I'm delighted to offer Wee Birdy readers the chance to win a set of 8 'His and Hers' mugs (see above and below).
Each set of four mugs comes in a beautiful Cornishware box and can be ordered from the company’s new online gift service at www.tggreen.co.uk. Prices are £40 per set, with a total prize value of £80. The website features some great Cornishware present ideas, with the entire range of the distinctive blue and white kitchenware, from teapots to egg cups and cake stands to pudding bowls.
For your chance to win both sets of mugs, leave a comment below, telling me what your favourite piece of Cornishware is. The winner will be chosen using a random number generator. Entries close 6pm Thursday 4 February (GMT) and the winner will be announced on Friday 5 February. Please be sure to leave your email address below so I can contact you. Good luck!
UPDATE: This competition is now closed, thanks to all for entering!
Love all of it, but maybe most of all the pudding basins. Unfortunately Cornish Blue is no longer sold in Denmark. Such a shame!

My very favourite piece of Cornishware would have to be the milk jugs. They are so very evocative and take me back to my great aunts kitchen - she lived on a farm and would go and collect fresh milk from the cows in the milking parlour in the jug and bring it in for tea. The pity was I didn't like to drink milk! I've got several jugs myself now :)

It'd have to be the globe teapot. It's the quintessential teapot!

I love these mug sets - my new favourite, and I can just imagine supping a lovely warm cuppa out of one of those, whilst sat on my sofa of a Sunday morning. Bliss!

I have a lovely yellow and white large striped jug which I adore. I do love the black and white too ... I might be tempted to use said jug if I were so lucky as to win these! What a fab giveaway!

It’s easy to feel intimidated walking into Dover Street Market, arguably London’s number one cutting-edge shopping destination.
