Aaah, there's nothing like a right royal knees-up to bring this Birdy out of the woodwork. I've just finished making the coronation chicken (thanks to Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's cheat's recipe) and the champagne is on ice, so I thought I'd pop in while the wee boy sleeps. The palace may have banned an official royal wedding tea towel, but that hasn't stopped some of Britain's designers whipping up their own version. I particularly love Gemma Correll's gorgeous corgie tea-towel (above), which is available from Lapin and Me.
How nice to see a post from you Wee Birdy. I shall go check out the chicken recipe right now. The towel is adorable tho' I think the cat will object:)
Cheers!

We got that tea towel for our friends who got married the next day... her name is Katie so it only took a wee bit of customisation ;)

Over a week later, I can still feel the glow. Happy times.
Love the tea towel, I picked up a really nice one at Aria in Islington if you're ever around this way.

I went past the Goring Hotel the other day where Kate stayed the night before the wedding! What a lovely place. Wonder if they had that tea towel in her room?? ;)

Although I'm not a royalist I did use the wedding as a great excuse for a party too. I made coronation chicken too which went down really well
